Ram Charan signs Docomo deal

Actor Ram Charan has been signed as a brand ambassador for Docomo.  The endorsement fees is reportedly pegged at Rs. 2 cr.  Though an official announcement from the product is yet to be made, it is reliably learnt that the deal is in its final stages.  In fact, a photo-op was shot with Ram Charan at a city hotel a couple of days ago.

Charan's ads will be the Telugu version of Ranbir Kapoor's Docomo ads in Hindi.  The ad makers seem to have seen a Ranbir in Charan.  The ads do not involve much physical action but dialogue delivery and expressions are of importance here.

For an actor like Cherry, who has got a special skill at making haughty and light-veined expressions at once, the ads may suit him the best.
