Chiranjeevi is campaigning for congress party in upcoming bye-elections of few constituencies in karnataka, and was touring Bangarpet, which is on border of Karnataka and Tamilnadu.
Huge crowds came to see chiru and police could not control them. There were many students in the crowd who came from neighbouring districts and police had to opt for Lathi Charge, which left 15 students severely injured.
During the campaign, chiranjeevi urged voters to vote for Congress and described the Bharatiya Janata Party government as being unsuccessful. Meanwhile, the campaigning ended in the evening in Bangarpet, Jagalur and Chennapatna Assembly constituencies, where bye-elections are being held on April 9.
