PRP chief Chiranjeevi arrived at bangalore after finishing his Anantapur tour where he staged a dharna against increased fuel prices. Chiranjeevi’s convoy passed through chik-ballapur ( 50 km away from bangalore ) where large number of megafans came to see him and police had to do lathi-charge to control the crowds.
Chiranjeevi announced that his party would contest next elections in border districts of karnataka and this news created ripples in karnataka political circles.BJP’s government lead by Yadyurappa, which was elected in 2008 is in crisis and is expected to fall sooner or later without completing its 5 year term.
