Praja Rajyam president K. Chiranjeevi will begin a three-day tour of Srikakulam district from Tuesday to rebuild the organisation and highlight the ‘failures' of the government.As it comes close on the heels of TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu's tour from September 7 to 10, party leaders are striving hard to mobilise crowds to convey an impression that the PR was also strong in all parts of the district.On the first day, Mr. Chiranjeevi will visit Itchapuram, Kaviti, Haripuram, Kasibugga, Kakarapalli and Polaki. During his visit, he will extend support to people agitating against the establishment of thermal power projects.On Wednesday, he will participate in public meetings in Srikakulam, Amudalavalasa, Sarubujjili, Hiramandalam and Seetampeta mandal.He will inspect Kannedara Hills where a mining lease was granted to Rammanohar Naidu, son of Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao.The PR president will visit Rajam, Chilakapalem and Ranasthalam on Thursday, the last day of his tour. The party is trying to woo various sections of people, including fishermen and tribals.
