Chiranjeevi has completed campaigning for congress and its allies in Tamilnadu, Kadapa and west Bengal.
For his efforts, AICC president Sonia Gandhi has decided to honor him with membership in Congress Working Committee(CWC).
Earlier Y.S.Jagan got membership of CWC but after he left congress, Sonia decided to replace him with Chiranjeevi.
This is the highest post for a congress leader, apart from the core-committee which gives advises to UPA government.
Although there was a proposal to make chiranjeevi as AP’s PCC chief but sonia felt that chiru might face non-cooperation from other seniors in state.
So from now, Chiru will be active in state and national level politics of congress party.
