Congress leader K.Chiranjeevi attacked Y.S.Jagan mohan Reddy during his campaign for Kadapa by-elections scheduled for 8th may 2011.
He termed these elections as a war between Sonia Gandhi’s Abhimanam and Jagan’s aahankaaram. He blasted Jagan for sending MLAs to him for support within few hours of his father’s death.
“Even before the completion of the last rites of his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, he sent his MLAs to me, seeking my support to form the government. I told him it was not the correct practice. After all, we are not in any dynasty rule to make son as the head of the state after his father’s death. In democracy, people would choose their leader,” chiru said.
He also commented that these by-elections were forced on kadapa people because of Jagan’s arrogance and power greediness.
Huge crowds turned to see Chiranjeevi’s campaign and his meeting was a big success.
