Rs. 2 crore set for ‘Badrinath’

Known for his punchy narration, director V.V.Vinayak is making a magnum opus ‘Badrinath’ with Allu Arjun and Tamannah. The film’s shoot started earlier this week in Kullu Manali. A huge set has been erected here in Manali for the film, and it is believed that the cost of the set might have crossed Rs. 2 crore!

Erected under the supervision of Art Director Anand Sai, the set resembles a temple town and gives it almost a realistic feel of a bygone era. Produced by Allu Aravind on Geetha Arts banner, the film is a periodic film filled with lots of action, romance and drama.

Allu Arjun had gone to Vietnam to get special training for fights, under the supervision of action director Peter Heins. The cinematography for the film will be directed by Ravi Varma, and music will be given by M.M. Keeravani.
